SLAM exclusive: TRUCKFIGHTERS-Tourdiary No. 4

We played this city a couple of times, last time we were supposed to play at this club Kalasnikov but it had to close just the week before due to complains from the neighbours about the to high volume, Peter the organizer welcomed us to come and sleep there anyway, it`s better and cheaper than to check into a hotel. Once we got there it finally ended up that we played two different shows that night, totally unexpected.

The first on Sunday evening a 8 o`clock we did at the local pub just 50 meters from Peters house and he and the barowner called in everyone they knew and everyone was very thrilled about that they were able to see TRUCKFIGHTERS live anyway, so the bar was completely packed with people, small bar but cool as hell anyway, we played on the floor in front of a totally crazy crowd, after that we continued to play a afterparty for a tattoo convention.

They claimed we played too loud so we just did a 30min set. That`s strange: heavily tattoed guys who think of themselves as heavy dudes, that can`t handle the pressure from a couple of hi-watt`s! ANYWAY... that wasn`t even about the gig tonight at the Pit... but when we we`re here last time Peter told us that they were building this amazing concert hall, and we were really glad to finally be able to play there, and it meet up to all the expectations we had and more... Really cool place with a excellent stage and backstage area. The place was almost full but the show and the audience was insane anyway!!! Diggin this place, hope to come back.
